Give more than you get. Bring a question. Leave with clarity.
Koi Pond Round Table Nights are fast-paced business discussions built around real questions. Not a lecture. Not a panel. Not networking small talk. A working room where founders, professionals, and students come together to solve real problems.
How It Works
1. Bring a Question — Attendees arrive with real business questions. No question is too early-stage if it’s specific.
2. Join a Table — Questions become tables. Self-select based on where you can contribute or learn. 5-7 people per table.
3. Lightning Rounds — Each round runs 5-7 minutes. Rapid-fire insights, frameworks, and suggestions. Then reset and go again. 3-5 rounds per night.
A Typical Night
6:30 PM — Doors open. Arrive, grab a drink, find your people. | 7:00 PM — Format overview and ground rules. | 7:10 PM — Lightning Rounds begin. 3-5 rounds of focused problem-solving. | 8:15 PM — Open networking. Continue conversations and exchange contacts.
Who Belongs Here
We intentionally mix experience levels. Founders share what they’ve tried. Professionals share lessons from their industry. Students bring fresh frameworks and sharp questions. You don’t need to own a business or have everything figured out—just be curious and willing to contribute.
The Ground Rules
1. No pitching during rounds. 2. Short answers beat long speeches. 3. Respect the question. 4. Confidentiality by default. 5. Disagree respectfully. If these rules slip, the format breaks.
Join the Pond
Bring a question. Bring value. Leave with clarity.
